摘  要

臺灣作為新興工業(yè)化地區(qū)，又屬典型的海島型經濟，島內資源有限，最主要的是原材料匱乏和人才短缺。尤其是八十年代中期以來，臺灣島內工資不斷上漲、地價一路飆升，加之新臺幣的持續(xù)升值。使企業(yè)生產成本驟然提高，致使許多中小企業(yè)處境維艱，其產品的競爭力大為下降。為了降低生產成本，增強競爭力。許多企業(yè)不得不奔赴海外進行直接投資，以尋求生存和發(fā)展。新世紀以來，臺灣經濟的騰飛無不與其對外直接投資有著直接關系。臺灣對外投資以中小企業(yè)為主體，這些企業(yè)與傳統(tǒng)意義上的西方大型跨國公司的對外直接投資相比，無論是在零部件采購、技術轉移、還是在市場營銷等眾多方面都不盡相同，因而臺灣的對外直接投資值得我們進行探討。與此同時，也能給我國對外直接投資有所借鑒。本文通過對臺灣對外直接投資的特點、對外投資的動因及發(fā)展階段進行研究，對于加快我國對外投資的發(fā)展具有重要的現實意義。

ABSTRACT

Taiwan as a newly industrialized area, and is typical HaiDaoXing economy, the island's limited resources, the main raw material is deficient and talent shortage. Especially since the mid eighty s, Taiwan's rising wages, land price soared, together with nt continue to rise. Make the enterprise production cost increase abruptly left many small and medium-sized enterprise situation difficult, its product competitiveness was down. In order to reduce the production cost, to increase competitiveness. Many enterprises have to to the overseas direct investment, in order to seek survival and development. New century, with the rapid development of Taiwan's economy all foreign direct investment has a direct relationship. Small and middle-sized enterprises with foreign investment in Taiwan as the main body, the enterprise and the traditional western large multinational company's foreign direct investment than, whether in parts purchasing, technology transfer, or in the market marketing etc are different, and the foreign investment of the Taiwan deserves our discussion. At the same time, also can give Chinese foreign direct investment can draw lessons from it. This article through to the characteristics of Taiwan's foreign direct investment, foreign investment and development stages of the causes of research, to speed up the development of China's foreign investment has an important practical significance.
