Study on corrosion behavior of Alloy 600 effected by sodium sulfate
Abstract: In this paper, the corrosion behaviors of Alloy 600 effected by the sodium sulfate were investigated by AC impedance technique and Tafel technique, and the machanism of electrochemical corrosion behavior of Alloy 600 was analysed roughly. At the same time, high temperature corrosion behaviors of Alloy 600 in sodium sulfate were studied in autoclave. The result shows that sodium sulfate could accelerate corrosion velocity of Alloy 600 obviously; And Allay 600 suffer pitting corrosion in the sodium sulfate solution at high temperature, and also the surface of Alloy 600 was covered by the oxides.
