In view of the respective history of America and China, both of them at the initiative period of founding are a history of war and colonization, suffering from the foreign aggression and inhumane treatment. In order to save their rights of independent territory and freedom, they braved them up to fight in the war against foreign invaders. Meanwhile, in the duration of war, the resistance songs played a very important role in inspiring and encouraging people to join in army, to show their perseverance of safeguarding their land, protecting their families and relatives. Nowadays, with the coming of new world era and globalization of politic and economy, the peace and development have become the world theme, nevertheless, our world is still unsafe, facing serous intension and instability like local conflict and terrorism insurgent. Therefore, as a member of the world people, all of us should keep in mind that war means destroying and damage, war is the same enemy human being, the world need peace, so do the people, whereas, making study on resistance songs is help to good communication and understanding of different people from different country, in turn, on the basis of mutual understanding, it’s easier to settle down conflicts between different countries. Therefore, people need attach importance to the significance and value reflecting in resistance songs to realize that the world peace is precious and need all countrymen’s efforts to safeguard.
The first Chinese linguist who introduced register theory into China is Zhang Delu. He explains the theory to Chinese linguistic scholars systemically and concretely, but he didn’t apply this theory to other domain study. While, in 1982, the revolutionist Liu Liangmo mentioned the attitude Americans holding towards Chinese resistance songs, he became the first person who began to make study on translating Chinese resistance songs into English and delivering them to Americans is Liu Liangmo, and his research aroused a lot of foreign artists and linguists’ eyes on Chinese resistance songs and discussing their own resistance songs with Chinese scholars, which to large extent enhanced the mutual communication of the two country fellows at that time, nevertheless, there was still the limitation, for Liu Liangmo only confined his study on Chinese resistance songs but didn’t extend to other field. Therefore, we can safely conclude that there were few scholars in China once have studied the value of Chinese-American resistance songs by combining the register theory. According to above phenomenon, this paper mainly explore the differences and similarities between the composing of Chinese-American resistance songs from the three theoretical factors of register; field, tenor and mode. Secondly, it will analysis the respective features and meanings of Chinese-American resistance songs through combining the three meta-functions of systematic function grammar; the ideational function, interpersonal function and textual function. Thirdly, it will trace to the reasons which differentiate in the composing of Chinese-American resistance songs. Finally, it will summarize the effect and significance the Chinese-American resistance songs bringing on people.

縱觀中美歷史,兩個國家建國初可謂都是一部戰(zhàn)爭殖民史,都飽受外國侵略和非人的對待。為保全領(lǐng)土完整和自由權(quán)利,兩國人民曾經(jīng)涌入到了抗擊外國侵略的戰(zhàn)爭洪流之中。與此同時,在戰(zhàn)爭期間,抗戰(zhàn)歌曲在鼓舞和激勵人們參軍保家衛(wèi)國方面起到了重大作用。如今,隨著新世紀(jì)的到來和世界政治經(jīng)濟(jì)全球化,和平與發(fā)展已成為世界主題。但是,我們的世界卻仍然不安全,面臨著諸多局部緊張和動蕩,如地方?jīng)_突和恐怖分子暴動。因此,作為世界公民,我們每一個人都應(yīng)該銘記戰(zhàn)爭就意味著毀滅與創(chuàng)傷,戰(zhàn)爭是我們的世界公敵,世界需要和平,人類更需要和平。然而,對各國抗戰(zhàn)歌曲的研究有助于來自不同國家的人們更好地交流與溝通,而且在相互理解的基礎(chǔ)上人們才會更好地解決各國糾紛,以促進(jìn)世界和平。因此,人們應(yīng)該重視抗戰(zhàn)歌曲所體現(xiàn)的意義和價值,意識到世界的和平是來之不易的,世界和平需要全人類的共同努力去守護(hù)。
張德祿是第一個把語域理論引進(jìn)中國的語言學(xué)家,他系統(tǒng)詳細(xì)地闡述了語域理論三大變量的含義及其應(yīng)用,但是卻只是單純地進(jìn)行純理論介紹,而沒有將其應(yīng)用到文本和其他領(lǐng)域中進(jìn)行研究。1982年,偉大的改革家劉良模提及到美國人對中國抗戰(zhàn)歌曲所持的態(tài)度,他成為第一個對中美抗戰(zhàn)歌曲進(jìn)行研究的學(xué)者,他將中國抗戰(zhàn)歌曲翻譯成英文,引起了許多美國藝術(shù)家和語言學(xué)家對中美歌曲的研究,這在很大程度上促進(jìn)了當(dāng)時中美兩國人民的相互交流,但是他只局限在對中美抗戰(zhàn)歌曲的研究而沒有擴(kuò)展到其他領(lǐng)域。針對以上現(xiàn)象,本文主要從語域的三大變量(即語場,語旨和語式)去探討中美抗戰(zhàn)歌曲創(chuàng)作的異同點,接著結(jié)合系統(tǒng)功能語法的三大元功能(意義功能,交際功能和語篇功能)去分析中美抗戰(zhàn)歌曲各自體現(xiàn)出的特征和意義,然后再追溯中美抗戰(zhàn)歌曲出現(xiàn)異同的根源,最后,總結(jié)概況中美抗戰(zhàn)歌曲對人們產(chǎn)生的影響和意義。
