Abstract

With the advent of Net courses and distance education technology, it is necessary to consider carefully how to use the technology in classroom teaching. This paper outlines the characteristics of classroom teaching and the characteristics of Online teaching and suggested some ways to integrate classroom teaching with Online learning through course development and more interactivity based on web technology. These ways have found the support from psychology: constructivism learning theory. If we make better use of Net, and take active part in the course learning, we can not only get much fresh knowledge but also improve the communicative competence effectively. In that case, it is very convenient for us to learn English because it has no time and place restrictions. So the author thinks that it is one of the most efficient ways to use Net to learn English at modern times.
