Abstract
In order to meet the miniaturization, portability and wide-angle needs for modern medical endoscopes, and using CODE V optical design software designed an ultra-small medical endoscope lens with a wide angle. The plastic lens using two aspheric, in addition to a filter and a cover glass.The optical structure is in the form of a negative-positive construction.The first element is a meniscus type negative lens and the second element is a two side convex type positive lens ,which are located by the sides of the stop. The lens working distance in between 5mm to 30mm,and the best working distance is 10mm. The lens field of view is , thus enabling the operator without the need to rotate the lens to observe the situation more image information in order to quickly find the location of the diseased tissue. The lens F / # number is 6.0, the effective focal length is 0.89mm, the total length of the lens is 3.38mm and the lens diameter is below 2mm.
