Abstract

Self-assembled monolayer(SAMs) can be designed according to our demand in molecular level,It has many merits which don’t exit in other methods. Now SAMs has been extensive applied in electroanalytical chemistry. But it is few reported about its application in fluorescence analysis. Fluorescence analysis is an important and effective spectrum analysis,If we can combine combine SAMs technology with fluorescence analytical method and develop another interface fluorescence analytical method,It was effective in diminishing the sample volume with a view of on-chip analysis,therefore has promising prospects in fluorescence analysis and chemical sensor.
The fluorescence intensity of 8-hydroxyquinoline is low,in order to improve its fluorescence intensity , in this paper we synthesized fluorescence reagent 8-hydroxyquinoline aluminum(Al(OX)3 , It is a very significant electroluminscent material and has attracted greated attention both from fundamental and potential application point of view .
In this experiment , The self-assembled bilayer membrane Al(OX)3/Cys/Au was fabricated via electrostatic action with DL-cysteine(Cys)monolayers on gold,surface. in order to characterized its structure , we make use of cyclic voltammetry(CV)in combination with X-ray Photoelectron spectra(XPS) .
It was found that the self-assembled bilayer membrane Al(OX)3/Cys/Au has good selectivity for Hg2+, so it can be applied to the detection of mercury ion. Moreover, we found that fluorescent signal of Al(OX)3/Cys/Au can be quenched by Hg2+.
