Abstract

Jane Eyre is a representative work of Charlotte Bronte who is an English critical realist writer of the 19th century.It successfully presents the first female character in the history of English literature who takes an independent and positive attitude towards love, life, society and religion and dares to struggle and strive for freedom and equality.This paper is chiefly an analysis of Jane Eyre’s character trait and the equation that human value is equal to dignity plus love.

《簡(jiǎn)愛(ài)》是19世紀(jì)英國(guó)批判現(xiàn)實(shí)主義文學(xué)作家夏洛蒂勃朗特的代表作。它成功地塑造了塑造了英國(guó)文學(xué)史中第一個(gè)對(duì)愛(ài)情、生活、社會(huì)以及宗教都采取了獨(dú)立自主的積極進(jìn)取態(tài)度和敢于斗爭(zhēng)、敢于爭(zhēng)取自由平等地位的女性形象。本文主要從簡(jiǎn)愛(ài)的性格特點(diǎn)以及人的價(jià)值=尊嚴(yán)+愛(ài)進(jìn)行分析。
