[摘要]:ARPA（自動雷達標繪儀）是當今船舶導航避碰主要的輔助設備，如果使用得當，無疑對船舶航行安全將起到積極的作用。本文首先介紹了ARPA的定義、組成原理及其局限性，并總結了ARPA的局限性中哪些是駕駛員無法克服的、哪些是可以借助某些功能的使用得到彌補和克服；在此基礎之上研究與分析了ARPA的局限性對船舶避碰效果的影響；重點討論了ARPA局限性中的試操船、尾跡顯示與判斷和錄取目標的局限性，以及避免這些局限的措施，最后指出在實際工作中應對ARPA的局限性所帶了的負面影響的對策。

Abstract: ARPA（Automatic Radar Plotting Aids） is a ship’s main assistant equipments for navigation and collision. If it is to be used correctly ,no doubt it will make active effect to ship’s navigation. Firstly, the text introduced ARPA’s definition, component theory and limitation, and summarize which ARPA’s limitations can not be overcome，which ARPA’s limitations can be used some faction to offset and overcome By officers. On basis of studying and analyzing ARPA’s part limitations is influence to ship’s collision；Stress discussing trial maneuver, trial shown and acquire target’s limitation in ARPA’s limitation and take measure to avoid these limitation. Finally, this text point out the method which how to replay the ARPA’s limitation in our practical work.
