閱讀是理解和吸收書(shū)面信息的能力,也是間接交流的重要途徑?,F(xiàn)代媒體雖然已經(jīng)十分發(fā)達(dá),但是書(shū)刊仍是知識(shí)的重要載體,閱讀也仍然是人們獲取知識(shí)的基本方式。閱讀是外語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者要求掌握的四種基本技能之一,英語(yǔ)閱讀能提高讀者的認(rèn)識(shí)能力,從而促進(jìn)了英語(yǔ)的聽(tīng)、說(shuō)和寫(xiě)的能力的提高。培養(yǎng)閱讀能力有助于擴(kuò)大詞匯量,豐富語(yǔ)言知識(shí),提高語(yǔ)言的運(yùn)用能力,是大面積提高學(xué)生英語(yǔ)水平的關(guān)鍵。閱讀也能使人增長(zhǎng)見(jiàn)識(shí),拓寬視野,還能提高學(xué)習(xí)者對(duì)英語(yǔ)的興趣,所以提高英語(yǔ)的閱讀水平成了英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)者的一個(gè)十分重要任務(wù)。既然閱讀在我們?nèi)粘I钪腥绱酥匾?,那么我們就?yīng)該重視培養(yǎng)閱讀能力。掌握提高閱讀能力的方法就顯得尤為重要了。我想在本文中就我們?cè)撊绾卧鲩L(zhǎng)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)和積極主動(dòng)地去閱讀以及如何通過(guò)預(yù)測(cè)、找中心句、略讀和猜測(cè)詞義等幾種閱讀技巧淺談一下提高學(xué)生英語(yǔ)閱讀能力的方法。如果掌握了一定的閱讀方法,那么閱讀能力也會(huì)有顯著的提高,特別是學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)成績(jī)的提高更依賴(lài)于閱讀能力的提高。
[Abstract] Reading is one of the four basic skills which learners are required to master if they want to learn a foreign language. English reading can improve reader’s perception so as to give a lot of help to improve listening, speaking and writing. Reading can expand our vocabulary, enrich the language knowledge and to improve their ability to use language. It also can increase knowledge, widen their visions, and enhance their interest in English. This paper clearly states how we should improve reading ability by adopting the following methods: improving language knowledge, enlarging the reader’s schema, forming a good habit of reading, applying reading skills, be confident and active in reading.
