摘要
隨著二十一世紀(jì)到來(lái),經(jīng)濟(jì)快速發(fā)展和人們生活水平顯著提高,汽車逐漸成為家庭的主要交通工具。汽車的產(chǎn)量快速增多,車輛流動(dòng)也變得越來(lái)越頻繁,因此給交通帶來(lái)了嚴(yán)重問(wèn)題,如交通堵塞、交通事故等,智能交通系統(tǒng)(Intelligent Transportation System)的產(chǎn)生就是為了從根本上解決交通問(wèn)題。在智能交通系統(tǒng)中車牌識(shí)別技術(shù)占有重要位置,車牌識(shí)別技術(shù)的推廣普及必將對(duì)加強(qiáng)道路管理、城市交通事故、違章停車、處理車輛被盜案件、保障社會(huì)穩(wěn)定等方面產(chǎn)生重大而深遠(yuǎn)的影響。
該設(shè)計(jì)主要研究基于MATLAB軟件的汽車號(hào)牌設(shè)別系統(tǒng)設(shè)計(jì),系統(tǒng)主要包括圖像采集、圖像預(yù)處理、車牌定位、字符分割、字符識(shí)別五大核心部分。系統(tǒng)的圖像預(yù)處理模塊是將圖像經(jīng)過(guò)圖像灰度化、圖像增強(qiáng)、邊緣提取、二值化等操作,轉(zhuǎn)換成便于車牌定位的二值化圖像;利用車牌的邊緣、形狀等特征,再結(jié)合Roberts 算子邊緣檢測(cè)、數(shù)字圖像、形態(tài)學(xué)等技術(shù)對(duì)車牌進(jìn)行定位;字符的分割采用的方法是將二值化后的車牌部分進(jìn)行尋找連續(xù)有文字的塊,若長(zhǎng)度大于設(shè)定的閾值則切割,從而完成字符的分割;字符識(shí)別運(yùn)用模板匹配算法完成。以上每個(gè)功能模塊用MATLAB軟件實(shí)現(xiàn),最后識(shí)別出車牌,在研究設(shè)計(jì)的同時(shí)對(duì)其中出現(xiàn)的問(wèn)題進(jìn)行具體分析、處理,并尋求更優(yōu)的方法。

With the arrival of the twenty-first century, the rapid economic development and people's living standards have markedly improved, the car gradually become the main means of transport for the family. Rapid increase in production of motor vehicles, vehicular movement has become increasingly frequent, and therefore poses a serious problem to the traffic, such as traffic congestion, traffic accidents, the generation of the Intelligent Transportation System (Intelligent Transportation System) In order to fundamentally solve the problem of traffic problem. License plate recognition technology in the intelligent transportation system occupies an important position, a significant and far-reaching impact on the promotion of universal license plate recognition technology is bound to strengthen road management, urban traffic accidents, illegal parking, and deal with the theft of the vehicle, and safeguard social stability.
The design study based on MATLAB software car number plate set five core part of the design of other systems, the system mainly includes image acquisition, image preprocessing, license plate location, character segmentation, character recognition.
