ABSTRACT: This paper concentrates on discussing the relation between the polysemy and translation. Differentiating and analyzing the meaning of a word is the key role of the quality of works. Word meaning changes with the contexts. We usually have difficulties in selecting the meaning of a word with different definitions. However, as long as we take deep consideration for concrete contexts and take research for the meaning in a certain article or paragraph, we can certainly give right version. Therefore, we should choose the correct meaning of a word in the sentence or in the context in translating.
