Abstract
Intimacy address, also known nickname and pet name, is to represent love and intimacy of address. It is a branch of family address term, is an important factor of communication activities. Form of address in each language reflects the social characteristic and social relations between people. The culture between China and West each inherits the history of their own heritage with accumulation and crystallization in the development of society. Chinese and English nicknames have shown various cultural peculiarities and represented the distinctive nationality characteristics with ecstatic charming. There are many differences between Chinese and English culture, particularly in the way of emotional expression that is world apart, Chinese are implicit and mild, and westerners are directly and strongly. The forms of emotional expression in the both of cultures are bursting out with their own cultural charming. Nickname culture is an aspect of new culture phenomenon, therefore a pragmatic study of nickname between Chinese and English has become a unique perspective of individual culture.
The thesis is to explore the ways of emotional expression of nickname in a view of pragmatic study. The exploration mainly relates to the classifications and forms of nickname, nickname and culture, the emotion perspective of nickname, and a new language phenomenon that the reform of nickname in the pragmatic emotional real. The study not only helps us expand the traditional culture and strengthen the mutual understanding, but also has significant importance for the cultural communication.

英漢昵稱情感表達方式的語用探究
摘要
親昵稱謂,又叫昵稱、愛稱,是用來表示喜愛、親昵的稱呼,是龐大的稱謂語家族的一個分支,是貫穿在交際活動中的一個非常重要的因素。每種語言中的稱呼形式都反映了說話的人和被稱呼的人的社會特征,也反映了他們之間的關系。漢英文化各自傳承著自己的歷史,經過漫長的歷史洗刷和積淀,各自張揚著迥異的文化個性。中西方文化存在很多不同之處,在情感表達方式上更是天壤之別。中國是含蓄并溫和,西方是直接并強烈。兩種文化的情感表達方式都綻放出自身的文化魅力。昵稱文化就是其中新生文化現(xiàn)象的一個方面,因此英漢昵稱的語用研究也成為解讀英漢個性文化的獨特視角。
這篇文章試圖從語用角度對昵稱及其的情感表達方式進行探究,主要涉及昵稱的分類,昵稱的形式,昵稱與文化,昵稱的情感透視,以及昵稱在情感語用世界中的變體這一新興語言現(xiàn)象。從此角度研究英漢昵稱,不僅可以弘揚傳統(tǒng)文化,增進彼此了解,而且對促進文化交流具有重要的現(xiàn)實意義。
