As two different art forms there are many characteristics in common between novels and movies(Henry 2001). The film "Jasmine life" ("I grew up in Iran") reveals the Islamic Revolution through the eyes of a precocious and outspoken nine-year-old girl Marjane(Jakob 2000). In that world women were forced to wear the veils and tens of thousands of people were in jail; The novel Going Ashore is about two people in love at the begining but finally they failed with a tragedy (Mavis 2009). The novel is telling a sad love story that In the last two people in love could not be together end up with a sad death.
