A concept “dashboard” was introduced a few years ago but it was not familiar to the majority. It was utilized by only high-level executives whereas it is used as measurement tool by various levels of employees at present. As for a business organization it is necessary for them to get the right information and data within the most valuable time. All employees of the organization should make profits as cost-effectively as possible so they employ dashboards in their organizations to bring more benefits. This essay will firstly introduce the definition of dashboard and how it is used in a company briefly. Following this the influences of dashboard in a business organization will be explored fully. Then the concluding section will discuss some possible future opportunities of implementing them.
